Why we built this

It started the way most kid birthday parties start: a group text that spiraled. Half the families replied, half didn't. Someone asked for the address twice. Nobody knew who was bringing what to the potluck. And by the time the party actually happened, the host had spent more time coordinating RSVPs than inflating balloons.

We looked at the existing tools and none of them fit. Social media event pages assume everyone is on the same platform. Evite and Paperless Post are designed for individuals, not families. Google Forms work, but they're ugly and require manual headcount math. And group texts just create chaos.

So we built Gatherfam: a simple tool where you invite families (not individuals), guests RSVP without creating an account, and hosts get a clean dashboard with real headcounts. No downloads, no logins for guests, no ads.

Pick your event type, add the details, and set up food coordination if you need it. The whole thing takes about a minute.

Add families from your address book and send invitations via email. Each family gets their own RSVP link where every member can be accounted for.

No account needed. Guests tap the link, pick who's coming, select their food choices, and they're done. Works great on phones.

Your dashboard shows exactly how many adults and kids are coming, who hasn't responded yet, and what everyone's bringing. No spreadsheets required.

What we believe

Families are the unit, not individuals

When you invite the Garcias to a BBQ, you're inviting the whole family. Gatherfam tracks RSVPs per family member so hosts get accurate headcounts for adults and kids without doing the math themselves.

Guests should never need an account

Asking someone to create a login just to say "yes, we'll be there" is a terrible experience. Our RSVP pages work with a single tap from the invitation link. No passwords, no apps, no friction.

Simple beats clever

We'd rather do five things well than fifty things poorly. Gatherfam handles invitations, RSVPs, headcounts, and food coordination. That's it. And we want each of those to feel effortless.

Your data stays yours

We don't sell data, run ads, or track guests across the web. We collect only what's needed to run the service, and our privacy policy is written in plain language.
